These are four very vibrant prints of four young men doing what they love to do best - playing their favorite sports. In Choosin' Up, you can see the gleam in their eyes: is there room for a claw hold (or was it a crab hold - I've forgotten) at the top of the bat? Who knows what intellectual topic is being discussed in Oh Yeah! Rockwell caught the three older boys in mid-air suspension eyeing the prize confidently tucked underneath him by the youngest of the four in First Down. (I wonder if his smug expression will change when all three fall on top of him with a thud!) And look at the expressions on the faces of the boys in Missed. Son-of-a-gun! It went right around the cup.
Once again, Rockwell at his best catching boys being boys.
